About Us
Inland Empire Community & Cultural Events Calendar™ (IECC) was founded in 1997 by Vanessa D. Brown. IECC was birthed from a passionate belief that Inland Empire residents did not have to travel far from home for a rich cornucopia of events and entertainment. The founding of IECC is a success story of true viral marketing. As Brown sought out and found multicultural events in the Inland Empire, others wanted her to share the information. She was soon organizing lists and sharing with anyone who asked via email. What began as a database of upcoming events and activities in the local communities has grown to a global outreach showcasing the rich cultural diversity of this fast growing desert community.
The Inland Empire continues to grow and welcome a variety of cultures. In the past, the diversity of the residents was not always reflected in the information about resources and events. IECC has filled that gap by providing information of interest to the Inland Empire’s diverse group of professionals that live and work in the area. With than 6000 subscribers who receive a monthly e-newsletter, and daily e-blasts informing them of personal and professional events, IECC has become the preferred source of information for professionals living in the Inland Empire.
Today, with a broader scope and vision of recognizing the Inland Empire’s leadership role in cultural diversity, economic growth, community involvement, progressive housing values, as well as, quality entertainment and leisure, the Inland Empire Community & Cultural Events Calendar™ has taken ownership as a viable partner that Discovers • Shares • and Celebrates events and information of all that is spectacular in the IE.
